pRESIDENT

This is my 13th season with the Highlanders; 12th as president and I have coached youth sports for almost 30 years.  I've also served other non profits in leadership such as Boy Scouts of America, Lighthouse Christian School, Central California Youth Football League, Gridiron Foundation INC and Harmony Church.

Both of my children have aged out of the Program.  I now serve only for the benefit of the kids in our community. 

This is my 8th season with the Highlanders and 7th season on the Board as Cheer Coordinator.  I have coached or directed youth cheer for 14 years and in that time I have been blessed to watch many of my youth cheerleaders move on to cheer in high school.  I have no children in the program but I consider every cheerleader a part of my family.  My goal for the upcoming season, as it is every season, is to help my cheerleaders become responsible and amazing athletes with positive attitudes not only for cheer, but everyday life as well. 

 This is my 3rd year with Highlanders Youth Football and Cheer after participating as a board member for another youth football organization for the last 6 years. I have always admired the program and I am  passionate that youth sports is a way for kids to develop a strong work ethic, teamwork and good sportsmanship, which are key skills in life. I am volunteering my time, talent and treasure (1 Peter 4:7-11 ) to fundraise to help with fees for every kid to have an opportunity to play and to help enrich the program for the kids in this community.
